Nike VR Pro Blade Irons Review

Through advanced technology and innovation second to none, Nike have released the latest and greatest addition to their VR range. The Nike VR Pro Blades deliver enhanced control while virtually eliminating the variance between clubs.

To produce a near finished club head, then Nike VR Pro Blade Irons utilise a new precision-forging technique using 1025 Forged Carbon Steel and are machined to precise tolerance. Each Nike Victory Red iron is then milled to create a perfectly flat face, which is then followed by the grooves being precision stamped into the face. This process elimates almost all the variance from club to club and therefore makes shot making consistent throughout the set.

Due to the R&A and USGA changing the rules on grooves recently, Nike have introduced the x3x high frequency grooves, which result in a cleaner strike, a consistent ball flight and more spin. Still conforming to the new rules, Nike have given the clubface more grooves that are closer together and deeper than their previous VR Irons.

Featuring Tour-ready control in a flatback design which is demanded by the world’s top players, the Nike Victory Red Pro Blades have it all. The famous VR Forged TW’s were designed with a centre of gravity to allow maximum feel and shot making capabilites, the new VR Blades also incorporate the same grind and profile as the TW’s. The Nike Vr Pro Irons achieve a controlled ball flight and increased accuracy, due to the ever popular True Temper Dynamic Gold steel shafts.

Nike continue to make great advances in technolgy and innovation and the VR Pro Irons are evidence of that. If the best players in the world use them, then why not you? These clubs are truly Tour quality and would grace any mid to low handicapper’s golf bag.
